The third story is a brutal deconstruction of the human soul. The track "Two and their Shadows" based on a poem by Vasyl Stus transports the listener to a strange room where the spotlight becomes an instrument of torture. This is an industrial drama about a double life: on the lower floor, words of love sound, and on the upper floor, shadows whisper of bloody massacre. The music is filled with mechanical screeching and disturbing pulsations, imitating the operation of a film camera, which snatches the most terrible secrets from the darkness.

На першому поверсі — двоє людей, На другому — їхні тіні. Вправний оператор Так освітлює кадр, Що й не добереш — Де люди, а де лиш тіні. Внизу проказують: "Нам з тобою жити В любові й радості..." А вгорі шепочуть: "Мав би ніж — Зарізав би як собаку..." Тіні танцюють, Світло ріже лице! Рай росте, А небо гниє! У світлі прожектора Все здається святим — Поки янголи шепочуть: “Кипіти в маслі, Варитись у смолі!” Потім виходить хтось третій — Агітує за рай, Що росте і росте, Все вище й вище... Сніп світла зноситься В порожню твердь, Де чути янгольські співи. "Одним кипіти в маслі... А другим у смолі..." (шепіт, крик, шепіт, зойк...) Тіні танцюють, Руки приростають до землі! Тіні танцюють, Ноги висять в повітрі! І тоді видно всім — Обертається тулуб! Лише тулуб… (шепіт) …Лише тулуб… (крик) …Лише тінь!
